				<div class="et_pb_text_inner"><p class="x_MsoNormal">Glen started the Quick Weight Loss Center plan in early October.  He had been gradually packing on the pounds and said to himself he would take care of it in January, after the holidays.  The problem was, he was going home for the holidays this year and just could not face his family and friends the way he was.  He said he was nervous that all he would hear is “The Comments”!</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">He thought to himself….Wait a minute, why would I put myself in such an uncomfortable situation when I still had time to do something about it.  He started self-dieting.  He watched what he was eating and read labels but wasn’t losing.  He would lose a little and gain it back.  Making sacrifices but getting nowhere.</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">He started the Quick Weight Loss Center plan and that was it.  The weight started falling off like crazy.  He said he was averaging 4 pounds per week.  He was amazed seeing he tried it own his own and wasn’t seeing the results!</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">44 pounds later he was at his goal.  The holidays became compliments instead of bad comments.  What would the alternative have been if he waited?  Probably 10 pounds heavier after the holidays.  Instead…what an amazing feeling waking up on New Years Day AT YOUR GOAL!!!!</p>
<p class="x_MsoNormal">So it pays to break away from the norm.  Do what Glen Did…..Make a New Year’s Revolution instead of a resolution.  Be done on January 1<sup>st</sup> instead of starting!</p></div>

<p>In fact, based on that research, Americans consume more calories on average on Super Bowl Sunday than on any other holiday, including Thanksgiving! Because of this, it is a proven fact that Super Bowl Sunday is one of the year’s biggest threats to achieving your New Year’s weight-loss resolutions.</p>

<p><strong>Pre-Game:</strong> If you are hosting a party, plan and prepare foods that you can eat beforehand, make sure you have enough options available for you to snack on without the guilt. Be on the lookout for these VIPs (Very Important Platters) for healthy, program-friendly options: veggie platters, fruit platters, grilled chicken fingers, grilled steak skewers, shrimp cocktail, and steamed crab.</p>
<p><strong>Defensive Strategy:</strong> Drink your Quickboost and bring extra, have it with you all day. Snack on the veggie tray but avoid the fattening dips. Just visualize of how good you will feel at the end of the night when everyone else has a “food hangover” and you do not!</p>
<p><strong>Offensive Strategy:</strong> Once you’ve assessed all of the available options, create your plan of attack. Map out in your mind exactly what you are going to eat when. Don’t wait until you’re hungry to make a move; portion out your food in your mind and stick with the plan throughout the game. Finally, carry a full bottle of ice cold water with you at all times, to keep you refreshed and help you avoid the urge to reach for a beer or other tempting high-calorie beverage.</p>
<p><strong>Go for the Touchdown:</strong> Don’t just sit around and watch the game, keep moving! Your well-meaning host may want to bring food to you, but be sure to get up and serve yourself. Take some time to walk around the room and socialize during the infamous Super Bowl commercials: the food in those ads is designed to be as hunger-inducing as possible. And of course, don’t hesitate to jump up and cheer for your favorite team!</p></div>
